Folded Newtonian was created by southerncross
Does anyone no of any sites that illustrate a folded Newtonian design? I've looked at a few but I might have missed a couple.

I am thinking of using this design which would bring the focuser down a considerable amount.

Ed - look for Stevick-Paul - that's an odd Newtonian. I also think there's a whole website devoted to off-the-beaten-track optical designs but I don't remember the site. Try 'unusual telescope designs' in google - that may bring it up. Or maybe one of the folks here remembers what I'm talking about...

Cheers

Dave

Hi Ed,

I may have mentioned before. Contact Phil Lardner through the PM section of this site. He is currently building a 14" folder stevick paul from scratch.
