Telescope now on Order

Telescope now on Order was created by Silversurfer
So I finally bit the bullet and placed an order for a Telescope-Service
152mm f/8 refractor on a CG5-GT mount.
I really wanted a EQ6 that I was going to upgrade to GOTO later, but after agonising over costs I decided on the cheaper mount, I hope it will cope oK with scope.
Delivery is due toward the later end of next week, so expect lots of cloudy nights for the foreseeable future.
BTW I've no real convenient spot for observing locally to my apartment, any ideas on appropriate observing locations close to Dublin.
Oh Yes SWMBO was finally convinced of the sense of buying a telescope following a night on the Aran Islands, very dark skies and a fireball did the trick.

Yeh, cheers Martin. We've just put up with two weeks of clouds, now this :roll:
