I saw this during the week, for those who are brave and feel like getting out the hacksaw and other metal working tools, then this is one for you.
This guy dismantled his C6 and made a truss structure for it, great if it works and is rigid enough, although I dont fancy getting dew on my mirrors.

Brave guy! Don't think I'll be trying that with my NexStar 8 GPS.
You can obtain a reasonably good translation by going to babelfish.altavista.digital.com/tr , inputting www.tbrumm.de/c6.htm into the "Translate a Web page" box and selecting German to English.

Google Translation: tinyurl.com/ncpr4 Makes a little more sence to me than the German.

Looks nice but I cant see myself taking the hacksaw to my fella anytime soon!! Interesting though, I've bben considering a short newt and a decent coma corrector. The way the guy arranges his trusses is exactly what I had in mind

Can someone explain to me WHY anyone would want to do that? What advantages has a trus mount on something so small over the tube it was shipped in?

I'm rather confused as to why anyone would risk their optics like this.
