That is indee, a very interesting design. I am wondering what mechanism is used to stop each segment flexing with respect to each other?
It is made from airplane plymouth with high precision. So four screws (? worms) for each segmet are enought. Scope is coliminated even if you move it in vertical direction. This wood is very good, but also very expensive.
