Choosing Binos and Scopes

Folks - I'm looking for links that give basic information to Joe Public on choosing their first binoculars or telescope.

Do any of your issues have an article on binos? I seem to recall someone publishing one in their club mag in the last year or so....

Al - I took a look but the shannonside article is 404....

I'd rather link to club sites and their articles than vendors. That said, I'll be giving folks plenty of links to the IFAS site where they can get plenty of info on where to buy.
