Polar aligning an LX10 was created by lunartic_old
I have an older LX10 that is not computerised and I need help with accurate polar alignment. Up to this it has not been a problem as I have been doing visual work only, but now I've gotten a decent camera and I want to try my hand at photography.

Basically I want to know the best way to polar align, I see that Telescopehouse in London have a neat gadget that attachs to the wedge called a Polarmate that aligns in minute, it's a bit pricey at close to €200 though.

Anyone out there to help me?

Paul

Does the scope have tracking?
Can the wedge be adjusted easily?

If so, I would recommend using WCS Polar Align. Allows accurate polar alignment with a webcam. Nice program.
