Just came across this... seems a good deal. Just the body and a 2gb memory card for â‚¬630.

I wouldnt mind doing that myself! But im investing in a new scope so not in the near future!

Dixons are selling an EOS 400d (a much upgraded 350d) complete with a Canon zoom 18-55mm lens for 800 euros.

I purchased a 350D with 18-55 lens, and a 2GB Flash card for â‚¬590 incl. shipping on e-bay (straight purchase -no bidding) for Christmas.

Got my 350d last week, c/w 2GB card and the 18 - 55mm kit lens on ebay for 510euro(inc shipping).

Saw the camera shop near the stephens green end of grafton st., selling them off for about 600 euro (must be clearing the stock as they had the 400d on display too), just after completing my ebay bid...

I'd be very interested in peoples opinions and advice on affordable, Longer focal length, Fast lenes.......
