For those who are interested in purchasing astro gear, there's a dealer in the US who sells BC&F products at US prices (i.e. much cheaper than the UK).
In recent weeks, some unusual activity has taken place with this dealer which would make me very hesitant about purchasing astro gear from them. For legal purposes etc I won't go into the full details here but I would urge caution.

I am having problems with digitalastronomy.com as well. I placed an order back on the 13th of January. They charged my card on the 17th and sent me 3 emails that my order was being shipped along with a tracking number. Now 13 days later the tracking number still says: “The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on January 17, 2005 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.†Emails and phone calls to both the 866 and toll numbers go unanswered. Note of the 3 emails I received 3 different return addresses were given. I sent a status request to all 3 addresses and the personal one bounced indicating the account was no longer valid. This site looks like it is maintained and has a lot more on it than one would expect to find with a scam site but their actions so far would tend to indicate that they do not intend to deliver the product as promised. If I get this resolved I’ll post again. I’ve given them till Friday to respond. At that point I plan to report them for fraud.

Sorry to hear of your difficulties. The owner Robert Purit (sp??) can often be seen on cloudynights.com in the vendor section. He's been kicked out a few times, but keeps coming back. There's been a string of complaints on that board.
Hope you can resolve this problem to your satisfaction.
Clear skies,
