Simple Truss tube plans wanted

Hi Folks

I recently took delivery of a 12" F5 mirror set and am now looking to build a truss tube dob. I have ordered "The Dobsonian Telescope" by Kreige and Berry but was wondering if anyone knows if there is such a thing as a simple truss plan for someone not so skilled with power tools. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought a 12" lightbridge dobson, I have yet to put it together as I just brought it home all of 15 minutes ago. It is a truss design so when I am putting it together I will have a think on how to make one manually or if it comes with detailed specs on the truss design I will scan them and send them your way.

I took the lazy route and just bought the design, your way on the other hand should be alot more fun

Just a thought but if you have a look at the report on the lightbridge it might give you some ideas.

You might try sniffing around the ATM mailing list for ideas and lots and lots and lots of other people's ATM webpages. Plenty of ideas and material to draw from!

I am building my second truss tube. It is 250/1200 with about 8 kilograms. It is realy not hard
