Hi Trevor,

I bought one of these a few years back as a way to get back into Astronomy. It was (and remains) a pretty respectable scope. I added a Telrad to it and had a lot of fun with it. At that price it's a good buy.

Hi trevor! Ive only hheard good things about these scopes but i have seen this site before and thought they were fiendishly expensive!

The other stuff does seem expensive but an 8" dob for €316 is cracking value.

I'd have no hesitation on recommending the SkyWatcher series for a great starter scope this size.
