which of the mentioned sun filters suit my scope the best was created by fguihen
i have a celestron c 6s sct scope. its 150mm in diameter . should i get the:
AC662 Sol-Vu Solar Filter 130-150mm
or the
AC663 Sol Vu Solar Filter 150-179mm
both located on this page: www.greenwich-observatory.co.uk/acatalog...-_Solar_Filters.html
im not sure which one would be better for my scope?
Also, do you know if those filters will allow me to see surface details, besides black spots?

you need to find the exact outside diameter of your scope and then see what filter matches.
You should be able to see lots of detail in sunspots and some brighter regions of the sun, but you wont see any prominences or flares or stunning surface details that are visible in a specialised solar scope

Whatever filter you get, make sure it fits properly.

I agree! Ive seen what the PST's produce and its absolutely mind blowing! Ive considered buying one for yonks! If you do get a filter, what you can do is get some velcro and use the soft side and stick it on the inside of the filter! fits like a glove!
