Hi Folks
I recently ripped apart a spotting scope and converted the zoom eyepiece for use on my other scopes. It gave good contrasty views except on the highest setting. I have recently blackened edges on my mirrors and flocked opposite the focuser but the glare was still there.
The barrel I used for the eyepiece was not blackened. I stuck some flocking paper to the inside of the barrel and the glare is all but gone. I was hoping it would reduce the glare but the difference is dramatic.
Just thought I would let ye know. Might be of help to someone out there
Cheers
Trevor
