My Main scope is an 8"F5 homemade Dob,
Also have a 90mm short tube refractor, created from a 90mm spotting scope which I use mainly in the front garden.
I have a skylux for white light solar viewing
and a set of 12" F5 mirrors which I STILL have to turn into a dob.

My only scope is a DTG 6.25" dob I've had since around 1995. Definitely value for money there

Mine is a 5" f/6 refractor, home made, good for deep-sy observing, but not recently used.

I thought it might be interesting to see what kind of scopes people here use.
(who'd have guessed the weather is crappy again!)
So I've listed the big brand names.
If your scope is an 'other'
then tell us what it is and why you use it.

Celestron RGT 6" Refractor with bino-viewer.
Meade 2080 8" SCT. (Ancient but superb.)
DTG 8.75" Dob. (Now unused. One of the very first. When David Moore delivered it in person to me in Ballsbridge he called it the DTG8. I told him to re-name it the DTG8.75 as he was short-changing the aperture. He did.)
BCF 25x100 binocs.
Misc Aldi/Lidl things.
Peter.

Hmm,
I might start a poll for what binoculars you use
Very nice selection of telescopes listed by people but I have to confess I'm a binocular user at heart
Current selection is;
Bresser 10x50mm
Celestron 15x70mm
Helios 20x60mm
Strathspey 22x100mm
Celestron 25x100mm
Fujinon 25x150mm 45-degree-angled on order ... er ... sorry ... I mean "on my wish list"
All the best,
John

A Celestron 11" SGT
10x50 Lidl Binoculars on a tripod
Skylux 90 (I think - Lidl again, very first scope that got me interested)
