Meade Series 4000 6.7mm Ultra Wide Angle Eyepiece was created by ConanMcDonnell
Hi everyone
There is an offer on telescopehouse for this eyepiece for £99 (€145) as it is being dicontinued. Does this look like a good deal or has anyone had any experience with this lens....?
I still only have the cheap plossls which came with my skywatcher 8" newtonian and i'm willing to spend bout €300 for a good eyepiece and 2xbarlow. i would appreciate any input.
Thanks,
Conan.

I thought I saw one of these on ebay recently at a fraction of that price (search under Meade). Might be worth a look.

Hi,
I have a 14mm UWA series 4000 eyepiece and it an outstanding piece and compares very well to similar nagler eyepieces.
If the 6.7 is anyway similar, then I'm sure it'll be fine, but I'd bet you'd get it cheaper on astromart.
