Impressive little scope there Kieran. Tell me, how does its tensioning system work for the altaz motion bearings on the side there?

Seanie I had the tension on when I started but the scope is so well balanced I opened it right out.

but the wooden base looks like it could have been easily trimmed down and reduced in size,

Completely agree with that Dave, now where is my jigsaw
