For cleaning lenses, I use a cotton bud that is slightly damped with water, DO NOT over do the water otherwise it can creep in between the lenses and you'll end up in with a much bigger problem then you started off with.
Only last week, I saw an add on astromart asking if anyone could repair a 8.8mm UWA eyepiece that the guy had taken apart and could not get back together, reading between the lines, he had tried to clean the inner lens surfaces for some reason???!!!
Anyway, I then use a second cotton bud for drying. I find that lenses can take more punishment in terms of cleaning then a mirror surface can, so long as you don't grind in grit and dirt.

Hi lads,
I had a look at that website and they don't have any of those binoviewers up for sale. Could anybody recommend a good site for buying these new. Dave mentioned the 3D viewing and I have too agree, so here I go again

Cheers

Hey Sean

Try:

www.Acecameras.co.uk
www.Iankingimaging.com
www.telescope-service.com
www.altairastro.com

These are European sites.

There are also numerous sites in the US.

I bought mine from Ian King - a pair of William Optics binoviewers. Great to use!

Cheers for the advice Paul and Michael. As you suggested Michael I think I will go with the William Optics binoviewers.

Forgive me for purchasing new equipment but I think the weather is taking the piss these days, so I think this is going to make much of a difference :x reverse psychology of a kind!!

Thanks again lads
