The biggest problem with the CGE mount are the annoying tacky little bolts that are used to attach the pier and the mount to the tripod. They can only be opened with an allen key. Each bolt also has a washer which if dropped in the dark is gone forever (easily done).
Enter the CGE bolt set from ADM (which just arrived).

An absolute must for CGE owners who don't have permanent piers. It now only takes a few seconds to whip them off and remove the mount from the pier. No more tools. The set also includes two bolts to replace the tacky plastic ones on the azimuth adjustment. Highly recommended. Cost €68 (including shipping) direct from ADM
