The Mother of all Binoculars. was created by pmgisme
Just browsing through the latest Argos catalogue I discovered "The Mother of All Binoculars".
Argos are selling a hand held "National Geographic" pair for €229 Euros. (Page 939)
The magnification?
A mere x108. (One Hundred and Eight.)
On the same page they have a flimsy looking "Celestron 675" scope with a magnification of a mere x 675.
Also on sale is the famous little National Geographic scope with magnification x525 which we already know and love.
Don't all rush into Argos at once!
Peter.

Ah yes, National Geographic. IMHO, a company with zero credibility when it comes to penning their name to toys.

I have to say I'm perpetually shocked by the lows NG will stoop to. I've lost so much respect for them. That Yellow rectangle used to mean something more than money grabbing
