Do what I did and go to an observing session where someone else has these filters and judge for yourself.

anyone with tons of gear want to bring me observing some night??TBH i dont get any observing done in dublin as I have no wheels and wont for the next few months. but if someone would let me have a look at some filters ( and wide field eyepieces while im at it) i would be most greatful and would happily supply the beers!

Fintan,

I have a couple of filters you might want to borrow, a baaber OIII , and a standard broadband LP filter. I don;t have a UHC anymore. You would be welcome to borrow these for a while. You just need to pop over to raheny and collect em.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.

You are very generous wtih your gear Dave, indeed i remember you brought your CCD to show us one SDAS meeting and passed it around!! if i owned it i would be hard pushed to let people touch it, let alone pass it around! Il let you know in advance if i get a chance to call over. thanks again Dave.
