The guy has a good rating, many things on the secondhand market are great value.

Especially once people realise that they are not that fantastic in the first place. Even €200 is close to the limit for what it can do. I don't understand why the Chinese manufacturers can't just sell these things directly to retailers at a fair price, instead of selling through a brand distribution network that adds at least 50% in markups to the price that the end user has to pay.

Santa (dressed in red stockings and not much else) brought one to me for christmas.

Pretty cool. It beats having to bring tonnes of books and maps into the garden with me.

Oooh, kinky! (I am picturing a 'wife' or something similar, right?)

How is your new piece of kit working out?

My G/F bought it for me and gave it to me in Lanzarote. No complaints so far except that if you are indoors pointing it out the window trying to obtain a GPS fix........................it can be effected by large metal objects such as central heating radiators. Even if it DOES get a GPS fix from indoors the large metal radiator will effect how it performs.

Tonight i was pointing it through the window facing east and it got a GPS lock (my LON/LAT coordinates). The radiator below the window upset it and it was off by a good few degrees. I was pointing it at Mars and it was telling me that Mars was Aldebran. It was telling me that Pollux(sp?) was Mars.

So it can get a bit confused if not used outdoors.......................

Guess i should take it outside and let it do what it was born to do.
