Hi all,
Im new to astronomy and i bought an 8" Orion with a motorised mount as its my first telescope i didnt know about the cover till i got home and "Navman" pointed it out to me!! so im wondering can anyone help me locate one or any for sale......

Hi Tony,
Do you know you can make one out of cardboard till you locate one. The last thing you need is dust getting on your mirror. Cut some cardboard the same diameter of the scope then cut a 2" peace around the tube tape the two of them together.It will do you for the time been

thanks for that....that sky-scout i bought off you is just super havnt got much use with the weather but got 2nights what a great invention!!!!
can you tell me how to download for comets???

Sky scout doesnt do comets............basically i think because they move too fast for the scouts GPS system.

Must fire it up and see if it downloads comet positions. It didnt the other day when i updated................not that i'm aware of.
