Here's the site i used to construct my solar filter:

I found the instructions and diagrams IDIOT PROOF.

I now plan to make 2 similar but smaller filters for my bins using the same method (and use a bit of string glued to each to connect them......kinda like a pair of kids mitten gloves).

Just thought this link would be useful to anyone (beginners) who want to make a solar filter.

The guy used "black" silicone to seal any gaps at the joins..........i used duct tape.
