Next to useless????? Ive viewed saturn with a 4mm eyepiece witht he skylux and was impressed i could see detail! it was tough going but it was worth it! Thats over 200x mag! wouldnt say there useless just cant be used for many objects! id say limited! Positive thinking!

Indeed. The 4mm i have is limited to the moon. Too much hassle trying to see anything else. I tried and failed.

Well it's cloudy now and i'm going out west for a couple of days so if its good weather this weekend i may consider giving it another go.

It sounds like a good challenge. I had a good look at M42 the other night with the 6mm and was quite impressed (obviously the difference between the plossls and the kellners).Next to useless????? Ive viewed saturn with a 4mm eyepiece witht he skylux
