I'm heading to the US in March and plan on stuffing
my pockets full of astro gear while I'm there.
There are not that many in NY as far as I can see but
I'll probably head over the NJ anyway to avail of the tax breaks.

If you are over for a few days you can order stuff online or over the phone and have it shipped to your hotel. I've done that a few times but you may need to pay for express shipping if you have limited time to ensure it arrives before you leave.
