Ahhh yes, I remember it well, (picture goes all wavy as time rolls back) Everything my mother told me. Don't pick your nose - put that down you will have someones eye out...and of course dont take your telescope to bits !! :x
as for the serious bit, I wonder how often folks here buy new scopes. Is it like other hobbies, where you buy the ultimate fishing rod and are then satisfied or as some say on this forum "there is no Cure"

Well i think it's a bit expensive to be buying a new scope every week with your pocket money.
I've read people say that they have about 20 different scopes (but without pics to prove it...i will take that with a pound of salt).
For me it's about ease of transport. So what i have right now is near the top end of that scale. Maybe i could push it a bit further (6" scope). Anything bigger though would have to have a permenant home outside in a Obs.
I guess once i have a place outside................the real fun could start cuz its just a matter of replacing the one thats already there with a bigger one. But thats a few yrs away.
God help me when i start to understand the differences between bad, good, great EP's.
And i dont just mean in price either.
