I took the advise on the condensation issue last night. I brought my 10" dob inside and put on the mirror cooling fan. this seemed to reduce the amount of moisture build up on the mirror as it warmed up again. unfortunately i don't have a utility room or garage anymore - which would be a little better
I figured my view finder was a little focus but managed to solve this- It might be obvious to all those experts out there, but I realised that you unscrew the objective a little and follow up with the locking ring (nothing in the manual about that

I suppose the seeing, although good was not perfect due to amount of moisture in the air - so I was a little scared to mess with Collimation, but centred on Polaris and over focused...the centre obstruction of the secondary mirror seemed fairly central but seen no defraction rings :?:

Finally I lost my Collimation cap, somewhere in the garden :x amazing how the little telescope fairies spirited it away, never found it. wow "spooky man"

by the way, I seen some time ago as i was surfing the astronomy sites around the world, a chair with an adjustable height facility. can't remember where? If any one has any ideas or links to a site that might be useful - or maybe some of you might suggest what form of seat or chair you use if any :?
