Meade LX90 12" LNT
Orion Optics 12" f4 Dobsonian
EPs: currently in transition state
Health: CAF (Chronic Aperture Fever). No known cure. Known to cause Dobs to expand into Obsession.

I got a set of these a while back, very nice, no regrets.
but make sure they're ok before you leave the store, they get treated abit harsh in the shops so make sure yours is in one piece before you leave.

I also have a pair, and echo Dave's sentiments. Ask a member of staff to cut th tape for you to inspect the binos in the (sealed) box before making your way to the counter.

i got 2 pairs of these. there is some visible purrple fringing when using them for terrestrial objects but for 20 quid they are still stunners. defo worth 3 times the price.

you were unlucky there Fintan, mine are fine, I suppose the advice is really to check them in every way before you leave the shop.i got 2 pairs of these. there is some visible purrple fringing when using them for terrestrial objects but for 20 quid they are still stunners. defo worth 3 times the price.
