Is this thing working with no front aperture filter?
Am I reading this right, your 4" refractor is letting all the suns light/heat into the scope and this diagonal is supposed to stand up to that, I know it says it reflects the heat and UV but I just cant imagine it staying cool ?!?
I don't like the idea of heat in the system.

If I am thinking this through correctly, if it reflects the heat and doesn't absorb much of it, then it shouldn't actually heat up too much. The danger is if it absorbs the sun's heat and shatters as a result of excessive temperature.

The heat comes from the focus of the objective Dave, which becomes greater when magnified to a focus again at the eyepiece. I am also sceptical whether this will take off or not.
