Modifying Philips SPC 900NC

I recently bought the philips spc 900nc webcam as it was recommended as a good starter. I know you have to remove the front lense and remove the ring.

The part I'm not sure about is the ring. Am I right in thinking that you should be able to twist the front lense either way (ie its not tight) and that you need a screwdriver or something similiar to prise out the black ring??

Any help greatly appreciated before I break it.

Unless they changed the webcam!

Thanks for the guide. I have to order the adapter and IR filter before I go pulling anything apart.

I'll put a post up once the camera is modified (or broken)
