Hi,
Looking on starrynight, 17mm and 6mm ethos eyepieces are been released in January.
But, the 17mm is 750$, that some price for an eyepiece, considering a lower power t5 nagler will give a similarish view.
I was able to get 3 type6 naglers for that price, maybe the price will come down.
All the same if you get one, can I have a peep ;) :)

I'd a good chance at using the 17mm Ethos on a 22" Dob, Dave, and despite the price, it's a beautiful eyepiece.
The increased FOV helped greatly in giving more context to some of the viewed objects, along with what seemed to be somewhat greater light-gathering.
But the price is hefty, and it isn't helped by the fact that we're ripped off over here by the stores.
I bought some items in the US, and managed to get around a 40% saving on them as a result.
In the UK the price in dollars is converted directly into pounds, and at a 1.80 dollar per pound exchange rate someone is making a huge profit as a result, regardless of the shipping costs to here.
For example, the Coronado PST retails at $499, about £280, yet we pay £429 here....that's $760.
That's ripping the ar$e clean out of it.
