They are really going for it alright, and they'll sell the lot, regardless of the recession, too close to christmas. There are some good deals there, anybody taking them up?

I already have the first two and a copy of the book, and I'm not interested in the others. I'm considering the keyboard they're offering on the same day though - to amuse myself on wet and windy nights like this...

although a week late me thinks.
If I'm remembering rightly the skylux is 10 or 20 euros dearer then it was last year.
The pic is of an altaz mount although it says its equatorial.
Nice book there aswell.

You're right. All 4 were cheaper the last times they were offered. But Lidl are still cheaper than any online sources for those scopes.

Lidl probably won't go for this, but it's worth a try...

If IFAS had some simple stickers printed up (even just on a laser printer) with the IFAS web address and a few words about joining a local club to get the best out of your new telescope, it might have a profound effect on both membership and the number of active astronomers in the country. Cheap advertising if they go for it!
