Yea its a runner and something that the electro magnetic branch of ILPAC was getting involved in!
My understanding is that while it would be a good thing, and the folks at jodrell bank would love to have it as woud Irish scientists. The professionals here would rather join the ESO first, as this would bring more benefit.
