Opinions on Zoom Eyepieces was created by Thargor
Hi everybody. Has anyone ever tried out cheap zoom eyepieces like this and are they any good? I have a Celestron Astromaster 3.5" Refractor and a 5" Reflector from the same range so Im not into spending €150+ on eyepieces or anything, so an all in one solution for my general Solar System observing is very appealing to me, does anyone know anything about them?

While Im at it could you also tell me which of these Barlows you would go for, Im leaning towards Celestron but ill go with the Seben if they're the better brand?

Hi Thargor, to be very honest, I would'nt recommend the Seben eyepieces at all, I've heard from a good few sources over the years that these eyepieces are quite poor in general, I don't think that you would be satisfied with it, hope I'm wrong
unless someone will correct me.....celestron eyepices will serve you much better in my opinion....

I went with the Celestron barlow in the end and couldn't find anywhere that had anything good to say about zoom eyepieces or zoom binoculars for that matter so I think Ill leave it, I have a good 10mm eyepiece and a 90mm refractor with 1000mm focal length so hopefully the 2X Barlow will push it near maximum power on a good night anyway.
