Well, the ebay scope has 1 day to go and is at 2350 sterling.
it'll be interesting to see what it ends at.

LOL at the link you posted Dave. I have given the owner of that scope target suggestions and looked through it lots of times..........in a manner of speaking
Greg was one of the Mallincam broadcasters last year. ie the guys broadcasting live feeds from their Mallincams over Yahoo Live, Ustream and Sparkcast. We always looked forward to Gregs broadcasts because he took requests and he was using a 30 incher with his mallincam. Most of the rest of the other Guys were using C11's and C14 SCT's and the odd smaller Newt. Problem was that he was in SoCal 8 hours behind so it meant very late nights or very early mornings for European viewers to catch Gregs broadcasts.
I think he is downsizing to a JMI NGT Split Ring 18" for use with his mallincam. He found that even his servocat and argo could not land targets accurately on the mallincams CCD because of the tiny FOV of this cam in such a large dob. He had to pop in an eyepiece after every goto to centre the target and it was a chore getting up and down the ladder which is to be expected for visual, but he had hoped he could operate everything from the trailer in front of the monitor.
Just after reading the advert again and I see he mentions 10" Pnuematic tyres for his wheelbarrow handles. Did he undersize his tyres for his 30" behemoth or did I oversize my 10" Tyres for my 16" Lightbridge!

If the mirror is good, that's still a nice price.

I had put 2 bids on that baby myself, but not anywhere close to £4,250!
