What site is TS? I've seen the HypZoom on most sites for 185Euros. That's a good deal!

If you happen to have a Hyperion 21mm, you can take the 1.25" attachment off it and screw it onto the 8-24 Zoom to turn it into a 4-12mm Zoom. The 1.25 attachemtns of all the Hyperions from the 3.5mm to the 21mm contain Smythe lenses. Basically a barlow. One unscrews the 1.25" attachment of the Zoom. Screws on the supplied 2" attachment and then screws on the 1.25" attachment from the 21mm. Of course one can barlow the Zoom to give the 4-12mm range with the zoom but assuming one has a 21mm anyway, its a much more stable and secure solution than hanging the heavy Zoom on the end of a 1.25" barlow. ie the weight is not on a long lever arm putting more strain on your refractor diagonal or focuser drawtube which might cause the EP to sag out of the optimum centre of the light cone etc
And with the 1.25" attachment removed from the 21mm it becomes a usable 32mm widefield.

The offer now seem's to be over for the zoom Ep on Telescope service ( '' www.teleskop-express.de/shop/index.php?cat=c4_Instrumente.html '' ) .The offer was on from last week thursday till today ,but there is still a great deal on the Uwan rebranded ''Astro Professional'' Ep's ( '' www.teleskop-express.de/shop/index.php/cat/c70_Eyepieces
1-25--Wide-Angle.html '') .
