Lunartic, are you for real? Thats everyday language. I was looking for some advice not a ear bashing, I get enough of that from my wife. I will curb my language in future but i would have prefered if your comment was directed to me personaly rather than your attempt at public humiliation. Bren

Paul, sorry about all this. This is the first forum i have used. My forum manners are a bit raw like my understanding of astronomy. Getting back to that, have you any views on collimation tools?

Go for the laser collimator, you will need it more than once, trust me. And, it can be used for any scope that has a 1.25" focuser (or an adapter down from a 2" focuser). The type I referenced to above is specific to a reflector.

I agree with Seanie, a laser collimator is the way to go and they are really easy to use.
