Hi all
I have seen a Celestron Onmi 120xlt for sale second hand in the UK for around €200 and I'm giving some consideration to buying it, but I'm humming and hawing about it. I have went around the web for reviews and they have generally been favourable, the CG-4 mount might be a little under weight, the focusser might not be the best, my planned use for it would be the moon, also for outreach nights, save me having to drag the 12" dob around.
I'm basically asking people for advice and opinions, do I go for it, yea or nay?

Not a bad price I guess. In similar vein I bought a Skywatcher 130PM (130mm f5 reflector) for much the same purpose - take anywhere, easier than my 10" Dob or LXD75 SN8, more capable than my ETX70 and its been pretty good for what I bought it for - I paid 100GBP s/h. Exactly the same could said about it - EQ2 mount just about adequate, focusser not exactly precision engineering etc, but does a job well.

Well then, I guess that by what has just been said Paul (lunartic Paul), if you don't expect anything huge by it and you already hae your targets picked for the scope, then why the hell not by it?!
