Refurbishing Old Brass Telescope was created by Redmond_Algol_OLeary
Anyone had any experience of a good company to deal with to do this sort of work?

It's not for myself but someone I know and I presume it involves the lens

I think it might be worth trying to determine its value - if its particuarly valuable or antique I'd check what professional services might be available.

I did a quick trawl and found this which might be useful if you're prepared to have a go yourself.
