The mirror is only 19mm-3/4" thick and it's made of fuzed silica. There will be very little cool down time after I add a fan.
I've not tried out the eyepieces yet as I've been busy all week with car trouble and other bits.my current scope is a 220mm-8.75" f7.3 Truss dob and I'm quite sure the ep's will perform very well in it but I really want to wait till I build my bigger dob .
