BTW, the cloth is well worth getting. Excellent quality.
Also well worth getting the air blower - or "Blasebalg" to you...

Doh!
Might get the cloth - would you consider it to be re-usable? I'd have a question mark on re-using any cloth on optics for fear it may catch a grit particle which you then scrape across your pristing optics...
Sure - why the hell not - a Blasebalg too... Can't have too many blasebalgs...

Procedure I use for cleaning is:
1. Use air blower to blow off the loose dust and larger particles off the lens;
2. Clean any remaining dust/grit off with an appropriate brush;
At this stage, all that is left is dust that has got stuck on the lens.
3. Spray a generous coating of cleaning fluid and allow it to soak into dust for a couple of minutes;
4. Clean lens with cloth.
Repeat steps 3. and 4. if necessary.
Cloth is really only cleaning off the smallest dust particles and even then, they are soaked in the fluid. Cloth can easily be washed, dried and reused.
