I say congratulations on your Tetris skills for getting that much stuff into the boot of the TT!

I did take my half-finished scope under reasonably dark skies, it gave fantastic views of Jupiter, and it was pretty good to use. I didn't have the balance sorted and it did creep depending on which eyepieces I had in use. The same mirror and diagonal are now back in the Orion Optics GX200 tube. The mirror is .989 Strehl and gives pretty good Airy disks when the seeing is good enough.

While I am not a huge fan of OO structures or fit and finish although I did just see an OO Astrograph posted about by someone on Iceinspace that looked out of this world. Well there is no questioning the quality of their mirrors. That is a stonking mirror you have by the sounds of it. Dont get me wrong, their structures/OTA's are better than my Lightbridge but I don't think they are better to the tune of the huge price difference even taking into account the price of the premium optics. Anyway, when the money situation improves I think my mirror will be heading off to OO for a bit of refiguring/repolishing and recoating action. Jealous of that Strehl ratio!
