Sounds like budget isn't a problem.
Biggest issue will be how the scope will be used.
Ease of life and transprtability will be the key issues.
I would go with the 10" dob.
Also suggest perhaps getting a few pairs of binos.
MAC bought some of the Bresser ones from Lidl ones and they are great.
However, I have notiocved that the quality of the ones they have sold recently has definetly gone down a noth or two.

If funds permit, it would be nice to have some star maps, red torches etc.
An ipad with stellarium would be a great addition.

Hi
The club here got a set of celestron skymaster 25x100 binos a while back.
We decided a few months back to go get a "unimount light" for them.
The mount is more expensive then the binos, but the weight is just unmanagable for a conventional tripod, also we bought all the equipment secondhand, saved a pretty penny there.
As for big dob like scopes, their aperture is aluring, but you need to keep in mind their weight and your ability to transport them, if youre happy with that then go for it.
