thats the astro buy and sell I referred to.
the killer is that the range and uk prices just dont compare on average to astromart

Glad the info was of some help - didnt get chance to see until now. If you or anybody find any of these useful please let me know. I am still looking for a cheap RA drive for the Skylux and a starter level reflector. Just something to pass the time with and learn - nothing exotic.
I am not sold on buying from US. I got the celestron lens/filter kit from Adorama and i am completely pleased with it. Was $104 then (114 now) plus $40 for the DHL freight and £26 from customs - still less than £100 but nearly twice the starting cost of £55.
