See www.easter-vivian.clara.co.uk/astro/skylux/index.html
Orion sell a drive for the EQ2 mount, which is what I think the Skylux mount is.
See www.telescope.com/jump.jsp?itemType=PRODUCT&itemID=197
Although I have not seen one in the flesh set up with this drive, I
do think that it is the correct motor for it. $35 is not too expensive.

Michael,
thats a pretty good price! I have seen prices in Ireland hitting (and one site, not naming it, exceeding ) €100 for the EQ2 drive!

I checked the Orion site for this drive and it seems they done export - only through agents
www.scsastro.co.uk
and
www.telescopehouse.co.uk
- and they dont seem to have the drive listed. SCS is new to me- anyway they both got specials/used pages eg etx 70 refurbished for £169 and etx 125 used for £250. Ihave seen the drive for €50 on astroshop - see
www.astroshop.biz/shop/en/182/1532/
I am seeking a cheap option. The mount is supposed to be similar to Vixen cosmostar and anybody wanting the better option should check teleskop service website -
www.teleskop-service.de/Aktion/Montierungen/montierung.htm
€99 plus shipping.
Incidentally if still seeking second hand sites try this one - go to miscellaneous page. Applications are beyond me but there seem to be some goodies for anybody deeply involved in design and build.
