Shipping a Dome from the US to Dublin was created by paddyman
Hi Guys,
I am in the process of arranging to buy an Explora Dome 2 + building from an Astromart user. It is currently in a warehouse in Philadelphia and I need to have it shipped to my house in Dublin. It will be shipped in a 20ft container to a port in either Dublin or Belfast. Belfast seems to be cheaper to get it to. Due to my been residential, Fedex and the other shipping company can't deliver it to my house due to no loading dock or forklift been available. So transportation of the container/goods from the port to my house will have to be independently arranged.
Has anyone done this before and could give recommendations?. Can you suggest a company?
I would rather arrange for one company to provide a door to door delivery but it seems to be not that easy.
Any advise appreciated.

eeeek! Good luck.
You could try a home contents removal company. Contact a firm here such as Careline and see who they recommend at the US end. Anything you ship over that way will be subject to a customs declaration and most likely subject to duty. Also, it won't be cheap.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to rent a van yourself and make a trip?
