Any standard second hand 10" Dob going for €600 MUST have one hell of an accompaniment of gizmos with it. That's too much to ask for.

Just as an addendum to the matter of the 10" celestron Starhopper for sale. I have one of these telescopes - and I purchased it new from Astronomy Ireland about 5 - 6 years ago. at the time it cost me 525 Euro - which I thought was a bargin.
Given the state of the economy at the time, the kit of eyepieces I bought on the same day were probably a tad overpriced at 200 euro - but I was very pleased with the scope and still use it regularly
I think the price of the scope at that time probably reflected the fact that it was the end of a line and that model was no longer being produced.
I had a look at "Done Deal" at this and other telescopes for sale and my view is, they are overpriced, in fact the "Done" part of name probably says it all.....
In conclusion, if the Celestron Starhopper was in top condition, and the eyepieces offered also in good order...then IMHO 300 - 350 euro would be fair....or have I lost the plot......600 euro is excessive!!!!
