Another observatory complete! was created by albertw
Well, far from complete, but perfectly functional for visual observing and very basic photography.
I've written up a few blog posts about the construction. Thanks especially to Dave Grennan and Michael O'Connell for invaluable advice on construction!

Wow, Albert. What a fine shot! May you have many clear nights for many years. Fine scope you have too -a 9.25 Celestron.
I love the photo of M57. Myself and Valerie observed the star that you have to the upper left of the nebula. It is my faintest star yet in my scope -magnitude 12.4. Very bright in your photo.
Aubrey.
