A short video showing how I converted a standard garage door motor mechanism to open and close my observatory roof. Sorry for the vid quality which was just taken with my camera phone. The garage door opener is just a standard one bought on ebay <100 euro. The chain needed to be extended a little to accomodate my 10ft length obsy.
Regards and Clear Skies,
Dave.
