Hey Micheal, the website answered my questions about collimaters, nice one! That collimater looks very much like a laser devise I made at work used for keeping pattets straight in a warehouse.I can machine it out solid plastic on my lathe and do the angles at work.
O ya the ten commandments are good, I liked the second one

Hi Brian
I will be dealing with these people soon,
http//pages.infinit.net/asmprod/mirrors ,They quote $900 for a 14" f5 mirror 1.5" thick ,and this is their top end mirror they also sell all the bearings truss tubes etc you'll need.
We might even arrange a joint delivery to save cost!!

Michael,
I think you need to read Scotts 12th commandment given your receint interest in big dobs
www.starcrwzr.com/commandments.htm
I can relate to all of them.
anyway back to the topic, surely there is a good supplier in the US ?
