The full sized .Tiff image is 450 megafrights. The JPeg version, with the same 15,852 by 12,392 pixel dimensions, is only 63 megs. Only!

The detail though! Absolutely awesome! You can see individual stars. Lots of red giants. Easy to tell which they are and what are more distant galaxies. Dust lanes and gas jets. Star forming regions. I love this image!
